Wolves have expanded their partnership with the Mander Centre, who become the club’s official retail partner.
The renewed partnership will build on the club’s long-standing relationship with the city centre shopping destination and also include sponsorship of Wolves Women, with Mander Centre branding featuring on the women’s first-team’s playing kit.
Located just a short walk from Molineux Stadium, the Mander Centre has been a major retail destination in the centre of Wolverhampton since 1968. The shopping outlet has over 70 stores offering products such as luxury goods, sports, beauty, and homeware, and also boasts several cafes including the recently opened Ava’s Café, located in Frasers.
Russell Jones, Wolves’ general manager for marketing & commercial growth, said: “This expanded partnership is testament to the great relationship we have with the Mander Centre and it’s great that two Wolverhampton institutions will continue to work together for the foreseeable future.
“The inclusion of the sponsorship deal with our women’s first-team demonstrates the Mander Centre’s commitment to the women’s game and we hope this investment will help Wolves Women continue to go from strength to strength.”
Commenting on the partnership, Richard Scharenguivel, centre manager, said: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Wolverhampton Wanderers and endorse the success that the football club brings to the Mander Centre and wider city, as well as showcasing our Shopping Centre to the passionate supporters at Molineux.
“It’s especially exciting to support Wolves Women at a time of significant growth, and we are proud to work alongside the University of Wolverhampton as local businesses providing new and much needed investment in the women’s game.
“We look forward to working closely with club over the coming years.”
